The LINE Manga x TALES Webtoon Original Story Grand Prize is a writing award, not a drawing contest: entrants submit original stories written in prose, and winning stories are then adapted into webtoons by other creators. Co-hosted by LINE Manga and the story platform TALES, it gives writers who do not draw a path to webtoon serialization. The grand prize is 3 million yen with a guaranteed webtoon adaptation and global distribution.
