The Tottori Manga Kingdom 2026 International Comic Art Contest is a global manga competition organized by Tottori Prefecture, Japan. Artists from around the world are invited to create single-panel, four-panel and story manga on the theme 'Clothes', competing for cash prizes of up to 500,000 yen.
Rules
Eligibility
- No nationality or age restrictions.
- A U-15 Award is available for entrants aged 15 and under.
Format
- Mandatory theme: Clothes.
- Single-panel manga: 1 page.
- Four-panel manga: 1-8 pages.
- Story manga: 4-24 pages.
- B4 or A4 size; colour or monochrome.
- Accepted languages: Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Russian, French, Thai, Mongolian.
- Unpublished original works only; self-published works or works posted on personal social media are acceptable.
- Works whose principal parts (story, composition or artwork) are generated by AI are not accepted.
Submission
- Enter via the web form (MediBang) or by mail.
- Entries must arrive by 31 August 2026 (postmarks do not count).
Results
- Results will be announced around December 2026.
- The awards ceremony will be held in Tottori Prefecture around February 2027.
- Winning works will be published in an anthology.
