Introducing Video Studio: turn your manga into video

You've finished a chapter. The pages are drawn, the dialogue is lettered, and the page turns land where you meant them to. Then you post it, and it goes to the small group of readers who already know where to find you.
Most people who would love your manga have never heard of it. A lot of them are scrolling a video feed right now. Video Studio turns your chapter into a short, narrated, vertical video for that feed, in minutes rather than a day of editing.
Why put your manga on video
Readers find manga on video feeds now. TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels are where a new reader is most likely to come across your series for the first time. A vertical cut puts your pages where they're already looking.
A chapter becomes a trailer. Fifty seconds of your best page turn, with voices and music, gives someone a reason to go and read the rest.
Every frame is your own artwork. Video Studio moves a camera across the pages you drew and adds effects like impact flashes and speed lines, but it doesn't redraw your art or invent new images.
One chapter, six languages. A Japanese chapter can be narrated in English, Korean, Chinese, Spanish or French, with captions to match. The same chapter can reach six different audiences.
Nothing to record, no editing software. The voices are generated from the script, and the whole video is assembled and exported in your browser.
How it works: three steps
Open Video Studio from your dashboard and it says exactly what's coming: pick a chapter, give it a voice, export and post. Here's what each step looks like.
1. Pick a chapter
If your series is already on M2W, its chapters are ready to use. If not, upload the pages first. PNG and JPG files work, PDFs are split into one page per sheet, and ZIP archives are unpacked for you.

Then choose the chapter, and the language you want it narrated in: the same as the manga, or another one.

Video Studio finds every panel on every page, the way a reader's eye does, and lays them out as shots in reading order, right to left or left to right. Each shot is framed for a vertical screen. The camera pushes in, pulls out, or pans across a wide panel in the manga's reading direction. If a panel outline is off, you can correct it.

2. Give it a voice
The script is written from your pages. Each balloon becomes a line with its speaker, prose goes to the narrator, and caption boxes stay where they belong. Because every line names its speaker, a conversation stays a conversation: two voices, not one reading both parts. You can rewrite any line, change who says it, or cut it.

Then cast the voices. There are nine studio voices to start, including warm and dramatic narrators, bright and soft girls, steady and gruff men, and a shouted voice for sound effects. The picker also has Kokoro's open voices, ElevenLabs voices on Premium and Pro, and your own cloned voice. Every voice reads a line from your script before you choose it.

To change the result, you can drag shot lengths on the timeline, or just ask the director in plain words. "Hold the reveal longer. Hit the fall harder." The director applies the request across the video, lists every change it made, and lets you undo any of them. Every version is kept, so you can always go back to an earlier cut.

The same chapter can be narrated in another language. The script is translated as it's written, the voice picker only offers voices that speak that language, and the captions are burned in to match.

3. Export and post
Pick a platform preset: TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, or landscape YouTube. The frame and captions follow. The video is encoded in your own browser, so nothing is uploaded to render it. When it's done, download the MP4 and post it.

Exporting works in any recent Chrome, Edge or Safari, because it uses the browser's own video encoder.
What it costs
Video Studio is free to start. Your account comes with credits, and you get more free credits every day. Writing the script, making each new voice clip, asking the director and exporting all use credits, and the price is shown before each one. Audio you've already made is reused for free, and anything that fails is refunded.
Make your first video
Pick a chapter you're proud of, preferably one with a strong last page, and give it a try. Open Video Studio from your dashboard, or see the full tour at m2w.ai/video-studio.
